111th Precinct Community Night Out Supported by Community

The northeast Queens communities came out to support celebrate the 39th anniversary of National Night Out Against Crime of the 111th Police Precinct on August 2nd, Tuesday. The event was held in Douglaston Shopping Center, at  Douglaston Parkway and Horace Harding Expressway. Entertainment, refreshments, and community information programs were part of the social, with excellent police presence.

⁹Jack Fried was honored for 30 years of service. He has been helping St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Flushing. The 111th Police Precinct encompasses St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, the largest Greek community outside of Athens. Persons are drawn to the Northeastern Queens Church, because of its location in one of the best residential areas of a major city in the United States. The excellent quality of life can be compared to suburban areas. The 111th Police Precinct has made this possible by its work.
