NEW YORK, NY –
The 19th Biennial Children’s Medical Fund Luncheon, hosted by the Metropolis of Denver Philoptochos, will take place -in the presence of H. E. Archbishop Elpidophoros- on Saturday, November 11, at the Hilton Americas in Houston, Texas.

Since its inception in 1989, the Children’s Medical Fund Luncheons is National Philoptochos’ major fundraising event and a vital source of support for the children in need, providing financial assistance to families facing medical challenges.
The Fund also provides grants for innovative research programs to pediatric hospitals throughout the United States and to organizations with special programs that care for children with critical and life-threatening illnesses. Over $4,000,000 in grants have been distributed over so far to hospitals and organizations, thanks to generous sponsors, donors, Philoptochos chapters, and luncheon proceeds.
The Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society is the philanthropic arm of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America that has offered over 90 years of philanthropy through fundraising and charitable programs. Over 400 active chapters impact the lives of those in need in the United States and worldwide.
