23rd Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum postponed for spring 2022

Capital Link, Inc, President, Nicolas Bornozis announced the postponement of the 2021 Invest in Greece Forum

Capital Link, Inc, announced earlier today the postponement of their 23rd Annual “Invest in Greece Forum” for spring 2022.

The Forum was scheduled to be held in New York City on December 14, 2021.

“After due consideration we have taken the painful decision to postpone the 23rd Annual Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum for the spring of 2022. We will revert with a final date very soon”, the organization announced.

“We believe that by then, the winter will be behind us and the overall situation will be much clearer and conducive to an in person event. We have taken pride for the fact that the Capital Link Invest in Greece Forum has taken place year after year for 22 years regardless of the political and economic situation in Greece.

However, recent Covid-19 developments and new international travel restrictions have presented us with challenges that cannot be ignored or surpassed”, the announcement stated.

“Two main considerations went into our decision making: First, the safety and comfort of our panelists and delegates.

Second, the track record of credibility and quality we have built over the last 22 years as the flagship event promoting Greece as a business and investment destination to a U.S. audience.

In the current environment, as conditions deteriorate day by day, concerns about the Omicron variant coupled with the new international travel requirements create safety challenges to our speakers and delegates and would impede the optimal hosting of the event. A big part of the event is the large attendance on the various sessions, the extensive in person networking and the multiple meetings.

An in person event is optimal and also widely needed and expected by everyone. In this context, we have also decided not to host an on line event now, so as not to take away from our spring 2022 in person forum.

We appreciate very much the loyalty and support of our long time sponsors, speakers/panelists and friends.

We look forward to seeing you in the spring and wish you the best for the upcoming holidays”, said President Nicolas Bornozis and Managing Director, Olga Bornozis, in a press release.
