STATEN ISLAND, NY –
The Staten Island Republican Party today announced that its enrollment has reached an all-time record high of 102,840 active registered voters, as per the New York State Board of Elections. This historic milestone reflects a significant and growing movement of Staten Islanders registering with the Republican Party, seeking a commonsense alternative to the failed policies of one-party rule in New York.
“This milestone is no accident. It is a direct result of residents feeling the effects of pro-criminal policies, a migrant crisis, and diminishing quality of life”, said Republican Party Chairman Michael Tannousis. “Staten Islanders are sending a powerful message that they demand a return to public safety, affordability, and accountability. We are fighting to restore common sense, and this record registration shows that the people of this borough stand with us in that fight”.
The party welcomes all residents who are frustrated with the city’s trajectory and want to make their voices heard. Voters can easily and quickly change their party registration by visiting e-register.vote.nyc
“If you are concerned with the status quo in New York, we encourage you to join the Republican Party,” Tannousis said. “Changing your party registration sends a powerful message that you are not happy with the direction New York is headed towards”.
This surge in registration is bolstered by the tangible, commonsense victories delivered by Staten Island’s Republican elected officials, who have consistently prioritized their constituents over partisan politics.
The continued surge in registrations to the Republican Party is a testament to the hard work and unyielding dedication of our elected representatives, Chairman and Assemblyman Michael Tannousis, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, Borough President Vito Fossella, Senator Andrew Lanza, Assembly Members Michael Reilly and Sam Pirozzolo, And Council Members David Carr and Frank Morano.
Republican Party Secretary Giuseppe Deserio said, “The people of Staten Island have put their trust and faith in these Republican leaders delivering tangible results for their constituents. The Staten Island Republican Party remains committed to delivering on its promise to fight every day on behalf of the hardworking residents of Staten Island”.
The Republican Party remains the last line of defense for Staten Island families, taxpayers, and small business owners. This historic registration number is a testament to the hard work of our local officials and the growing consensus that Republican leadership is the key to saving our city.
