WILMINGTON, DE –
On January 17, Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey visited the annual Holy Trinity Cathedral Basketball Tournament hosted by the V. Rev. Archimandrite Christoforos Oikonomidis and the community in Wilmington, Delaware. GOYA teams gathered from Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware to compete.
Saturday marked the preliminary rounds of the tournament with the winners playing in the championship round on Sunday, January 18, after worshipping together in the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
His Eminence encouraged all the youth to play their best and to enjoy each other’s fellowship on and off the court.
