The Order of AHEPA Southampton Chapter 546 marked a historic milestone on Sunday, February 8, with the formal initiation and election of its new officers—an event that reaffirms the chapter’s commitment to leadership, service, and the preservation of Hellenic values within the community.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished AHEPA leaders, including Supreme Governor Dean Moskos, Empire State District 6 Governor Gus Constantine, District 6 Lieutenant Governor Konstantinos Prentzas, and District Marshal Greg Tsougranis.

Their attendance, according to a press announcement by the Chapter, underscored the importance of this occasion and the continued growth and strength of the Southampton chapter.

The chapter also expressed its sincere appreciation to Father Alex Karloutsos for his ongoing spiritual guidance and steadfast support.

The newly elected officers of the Southampton Chapter 546 are:

 • Dimitrios (Jimmy) Hatgistavrou, President

 • Vasilis Boris, Vice President

 • Michael C. Hartofelis, Secretary

 • Epaminondas Kaniaris, Treasurer

These leaders will guide the chapter as it advances AHEPA’s mission of promoting Hellenic heritage, civic responsibility, philanthropy, education, and community service.

“This moment represents not only a new chapter in our history, but also a renewed commitment to excellence and service,” said chapter leadership. “We look forward to building on AHEPA’s proud legacy in Southampton.”

The Order of AHEPA remains dedicated to strengthening communities through leadership development, volunteerism, and cultural preservation.
