Fourteen leading defence technology and security companies will attend the 13th AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition, one of the world’s foremost defence exhibitions, the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) announced.
According to AmCham, which is organising the Hellenic Pavilion, the fair will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Centre in Washington from Octobre 12 to 14. The Greek participation is supported by the National Defence Ministry, the General Directorate for Defence Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) and Enterprise Greece, highlighting the technical capacities, know-how and extroversion of the Greek defence industry.
The Greek companies participating include the following companies: IDE (Intracom Defense), Metlen | M Technologies, Theon International, EFA Group, Aeroservices, Elmon, Hellenic Defence Systems, SAS Tech, AMS, Qualco Group, Adamant Composites, Defea, Etme and Temma.
In a statement, the Chamber said, “Greece’s strong participation will once again highlight the country’s growing role as a hub of defense innovation and international collaboration. The Hellenic Pavilion reflects the dynamism of the Greek defense industry – combining advanced technologies, highly skilled expertise, and a strong spirit of partnership that fosters new opportunities in global markets and reinforces Greece’s standing on the international stage”.
The GDDIA’s presence at the fair with an official delegation “highlights the strategic importance of Greece’s participation, reaffirming the country’s commitment to strengthening transatlantic cooperation and advancing defense partnerships with the United States and allied nations,” AmCham said.
