AHEPA Honors Fallen Heroes at Arlington National Cemetery

WASHINGTON, DC – GNUSA

AHEPA Supreme President E. Chris Kaitson laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on June 5, underscoring the Order’s deep commitment to honoring those who have sacrificed for their country.

“First performed in 1924, this proud and time‑honored tradition has roots that run deep in the mission and ethics of AHEPA. Paying due respects to those who’ve given so much for the freedoms we enjoy every day is the cornerstone of AHEPA’s numerous Veterans initiatives, the wreath‑laying ceremony a key observance in that mission,” Kaitson stated in a post.

Joining the Supreme President for the ceremony were Supreme Secretary Themistocles Frangos, Executive Director Basil Mossaidis, and Supreme Governor, retired U.S. Army Colonel George McClure, who traveled to Washington to pay their respects and honor this revered and enduring tradition.
