CHICAGO, IL –
On Sunday, October 15, 2023, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presided over the Divine Liturgy at Holy Taxiarhai & Saint Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church in Niles, Illinois.
After the service, the children of the parish presented His Eminence with an icon of Christ and the Archangels.
Archbishop Elpidophoros offered a pectoral cross, the cross of St. Sophia, to parish priest Fr. Tilemahos Alikakos and bestowed the Medal of St. Paul to chanter Nikolaos Harisiadis, the Protopsalti of Holy Taxiarhai & Saint Haralambos for over 25 years.
His Eminence also presented gifts to Parish Council President Tom Sikoral and Parish Philoptochos President Georgia Kolovos.
