Archdiocese Bids Farewell to Fr. Eleftherios Constantine

NEW YORK, NY -His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America and the staff of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America gather to bid farewell to Fr. Eleftherios Constantine, Director of the Archbishop’s Office.

Concluding ten years of service at the Archdiocese, Fr. Eleftherios has also served as a Deacon under Archbishop Demetrios, Formerly of America, and as both Deacon to the Archbishop and Archdeacon under Archbishop Elpidophoros.

In recognition of his many years of service in critical positions of the Archdiocese, His Eminence elevated Fr. Eleftherios to the rank of Economos of the Sacred Archdiocese of America in the Archdiocesan Chapel of Saint Paul.

Fr. Eleftherios and his family will be moving to the Pittsburgh area, where he will serve as Dean of the St. Nicholas Cathedral in Pittsburgh, beginning July 1.

The Rev. Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Panagiotis Papazafiropoulos will assume the responsibilities of Director of the Office of the Archbishop, while Kay Brakatselos has joined the Archdiocese as Executive Administrative Assistant of the Office of the Archbishop.

In thanking Fr. Eleftherios for his service, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros offers him and his family his paternal blessing and wishes them a most fruitful ministry in this new chapter of their service to the Church.
