ATHENS –
A bill on strengthening state universities and establishing the framework for branches of foreign nonprofit universities in Greece was posted for public consultation on the gov.gr platform on Thursday.
The consultation will end on Sunday, February 18 at 19:00.
The introductory text of the draft law says it contains five sections, each relating, respectively, to the Democritus University of Thrace; the modernization and upgrade of the Hellenic Open University; the strengthening of higher education institutions (state universities); the establishment and operation of legal entities for university education (private universities); and other regulations relating to the Ministry of Education, Religions, and Sports, which drafted the proposed law.
