The Cyprus-US Chamber of Commerce and the Cyprus Young Professionals (CYP) hosted their Annual Christmas party on December 12 at Ariston Flowers and Café in Manhattan.
Festive music along with the beautifully adorned decorations, and the warm atmosphere of the venue added Christmas joy to the event that brought together many of the Chamber’s members with family and friends to celebrate the holiday season and the blessings of the passing year.
In her welcoming remarks, Despina Axiotakis, Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, thanked everyone for attending and wished them all the best for the Christmas season. She gave a brief update on the latest news from the Chamber and thanked President Maria Pappas for her steadfast commitment and enthusiasm in promoting the work of the Chamber and the incredible work the past four years.

Chamber President Maria Pappas thanked all those who helped organizing the event, especially Despina Axiotakis, and wished everyone in attendance a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year. She also expressed her joy for seeing so many young people.
Cyprus Young Professionals President Maria Christodoulou shared her greetings and Christmas wishes with all, as well, noting that many young people were present.
Keeping the tradition alive, the Chamber’s ex -president, Nicos Nicolaou, spread once again more Christmas cheer as the Cypriot “Santa Claus” who handed out the event’s raffle gifts.

Among those in attendance were UFC Champion Charalambos Grigoriou, Hellenic Lawyers Association Board of Directors Chairman George Zapantis and Cyprus New York Productions President Phyto Stratis.
