Dr. Gregory G. Papadeas hosted two senior dermatology residents, Stella Kaliampou, M.D. and Magda Kalamata, M.D., from the University of Athens to spend a few weeks with his practice and the University of Colorado.
Their rotation began September 3 and will end on September 20, 2024. Their travel, housing, and food expenses were all gratis, covered thanks to a cooperative effort primarily by the University of Colorado, Advanced Dermatology, His Eminence Metropolitan Constantine of Denver and the Denver Greek community.
Most of their time will be at C.U., Department of Dermatology, and in Dr. Papadeas’ private practice. This will allow them the opportunity to learn from their educational process as well, increasing their knowledge and experience, to return to Greece and continue to offer high quality medical care in their homeland.
Drs. Kaliampou and Kalamata will also attend and present a Case Report alongside the C.U. residents at the annual conference of the Colorado Dermatologic Society on September 20 in Englewood, CO.
As Dr. Papadeas notes, the residents are very appreciative of this “once in a lifetime” opportunity to participate in this educational experience, and the Metropolis of Denver was happy to welcome them at the Brotherhood of St. George.
