WASHINGTON, DC –
The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) announced on January 24 that Alexandra Veletsis, an alumna of the AHI Foreign Policy Trip, has been appointed as the White House Visitors Office Director. In this role, Veletsis will oversee the planning and execution of public tours, special events, and initiatives that welcome millions of visitors to the White House each year.
With her prior experience in the first Trump Administration, [as the White House Public Liaison Office Director of Operations], Veletsis brings a commitment to accessibility, hospitality, and the rich history of the White House. Under her leadership, the Visitors Office will continue to enhance the visitor experience and foster a deeper connection between the American people and their government.
“I am honored and humbled to serve the President, Mrs. Trump, and the American people once again,” Veletsis said. “I look forward to creating memorable experiences for all who visit the White House.”
AHI President Nick Larigakis congratulated Veletsis on her well-deserved appointment, stating, “Her leadership and dedication will undoubtedly enhance the visitor experience, fostering greater engagement with our nation’s history and government. We beam with pride when our Foreign Policy alumni make great strides in their careers, and Alexandra has done just that.”
