ODESSA – The Greek Consulate General in Odessa evacuated a total of 26 Greek citizens and their family members from the Ukrainian port city, due to the security situation throughout Ukraine, the Greek Foreign Ministry. announced on Monday.
According to the statement, the Foreign Ministry-approved operation “Nostos 2” ensured that the group, accompanied by Consul General Dimitris Dochtsis, arrived in Moldavia, where they were received by Greek Ambassador to Romania, Sofia Grammata.
Consul General Dochtsis returned to Odessa, noted the ministry, to continue the operation of the Greek Consulate there.
