ATHENS –
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a telephone conversation with Donald Trump on Monday, congratulating him on his election victory.
During their call, the Prime Minister underlined the importance of the strategic partnership between Greece and the United States for stability and security in the wider region, and stressed that he is looking forward to close cooperation with the new US administration on issues of bilateral, regional and international interest.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis extended an invitation to Donald Trump to visit Greece.
