Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce (HACC) Signs MOU with American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AmCham)

The Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Greece), on May 18 in Athens.  

“This partnership marks an important step in strengthening cooperation between the Greek and Greek-American business communities and further advancing U.S.-Greece relations” a post by HACC stresses.

Representing the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce were President Efthihia Pylarinou Piper, Executive Board Members Daniel Tadros and Olga Bornozi and Board Member Leonidas Tzonis. AmCham Greece was represented by President John Saracakis, together with Elias Spirtounias, Executive Director of AmCham Greece.

“We look forward to future joint initiatives, business programs, networking opportunities, and community engagement efforts that support business leaders, professionals, and the next generation of Greek and Greek-American leadership”, the HACC post concludes.

In a separate announcement, the American‑Hellenic Chamber of Commerce notes that both chambers ‘share a common commitment to strengthening economic, entrepreneurial, and innovation‑driven ties between Greece and the United States, and to supporting initiatives that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and transatlantic business collaboration.

“Recognizing the value of cooperation between leading business institutions in fostering stronger bilateral relations and creating opportunities for their respective members and stakeholders, the Parties [HACC & AmCham] collaborate within the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding”, the AmCham announcement concludes.
