NEW YORK, NY –
Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) called today (August 1st) the Biden-Harris Administration to immediately release the details surrounding the pre-trial agreement made with 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his associates.
“Any plea deal with the terrorists responsible for killing thousands of Americans, including so many of my constituents, is unacceptable. We owe it to the victims, their families and those 9/11 heroes who continue to suffer and die from related illnesses to pursue the death penalty”, notes Malliotakis, adding that:
“The fact that any agreement would be struck without notifying the 2,977 innocent families is deeply disturbing for Americans who have waited over two decades for justice. Nothing shows weakness to terrorist organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah, al Qaeda and ISIS-k who seek to destroy America and our allies, like this Administration negotiating with the captive mastermind of 9/11 and his associates. The Biden-Harris Administration must make the terms of this so called “deal” public immediately.”
