Middle East, GSI and MED9 dominated the trilateral Greece-Cyprus-France summit

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with the President of France Emmanuel Macron and the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides on the sidelines of the 79th UN General Assembly in New York.

The trilateral meeting, held on September 24, focused on international and regional developments, especially the situation in the Gaza Strip.

Mitsotakis and Christodoulides informed Macron about the progress of the project of the Great Sea Interconnector.

The agenda of the MED9 meeting on October 11, which will be held in Paphos, was also discussed.

On Wednesday, Mitsotakis will have the opportunity to present the prospects of the Greek economy to giant investment funds, with the aim of attracting investments.
