NEW YORK, NY –
In a commanding display of soccer prowess, the New York Pancyprians emerged victorious over the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) with an impressive 7-1 win on Tuesday, November 28th. The showdown took place at Queens College and was a pivotal clash in the Metropolitan Conference of the Eastern Premiere Soccer League (EPSL).
The Pancyprians came out strong and set the tone early in the game. Matthew Forster was the star of the show, netting goals in the 4th, 68th, and 84th minutes to secure a stunning hat trick. Joseph Holland added to the scoring spree in the 11th minute, while Shavon John Brown contributed with goals in the 29th and 28th minutes.
Despite NYAC’s effort to get on the scoreboard with a goal in the 70th minute, the Pancyprians’ resilience remained unwavering. Camil Koraichi swiftly responded with a goal shortly after, reaffirming their dominance on the field.
The resounding victory solidified the Pancyprians’ position at the top of the Metropolitan Conference, where they currently lead by 2 points. Their exceptional teamwork, skill, and determination were on full display, leaving their fans elated and their competitors in awe.
