“His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew successfully underwent stent placement at Mount Sinai Hospital this afternoon. He is expected to be released tomorrow”, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America announced in a tweet early Wednesday evening, November 3, 2021.
His All-Holiness was admitted earlier in the afternoon at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York for an angiogram that would assess the need for a stent placement.
