The 2026 Greek Independence Day Parade Committee will hold the drawing for the 2026 Parade Raffle during an open meeting on Sunday, May 31, at 2:00 p.m., at the Stathakeion Center, (22-51 29th Street, Astoria, NY 11105) in Astoria.
The Committee kindly requests that all individuals who received, distributed, purchased, or were allocated raffle books return the raffle stubs with payment and/or any unused raffles to the Federation’s offices no later than Tuesday, May 26, at 5 p.m. (the Tuesday after Memorial Day).
Raffles submitted after this deadline will not be accepted or included in the drawing. While the Raffle Drawing is open to the public, all winning tickets and prizes will be verified and officially announced later that week.
Additionally, Parade Chairman Lou Katsos will deliver a special lecture on Petrobey Mavromichalis on Thursday, June 4, at 6:30 p.m., also at the Stathakeion Center. This event marks the final presentation of the 2026 Lecture Series on the Greek Revolution of 1821.
Immediately afterward, at 7:00 p.m., the 2026 Greek Independence Day Parade Financial Report will be presented in a special public meeting.
