After a two year hiatus, the Delaware Valley Youth Commission held its annual GOYA Sights and Sounds Festival on April 9 at St. Luke Greek Orthodox Church in Broomall. The youth from the local parishes were joined by the GOYAns of two parishes from the Northern NJ Region, St. George Clifton and St. George Ocean Township, in participating in a day filled with music, singing, acting and Greek traditional dances.

His Grace Bishop Apostolos of Medea, Archepiscopal Vicar of the Metropolis of New Jersey, accompanied by Archdeacon Philotheos Tomczewski, opened the program with an Agiasmo Service.

Rev. Fr Christoforos Oikonomidis, NJ Metropolis Chancellor, along with regional Vicar and Youth Commissioner, Fr. Anastasios Bourantas, as well as many area clergy were present and congratulated the children for their performances and their hard efforts.
Organizing Committee Chairs, Chrissy Katsapis and Andrea Papadopoulos, thanked everyone for attending and making the day run so smoothly.

The 2023 DVYC Sights and Sounds Festival will take place at the St. Thomas community in Cherry Hill, NJ.
