The community of St. Thomas in Cherry Hill, NJ, gathered on May 6 to celebrate a year of accomplishments of their Greek Language School graduates.
The St. Thomas Hellenic Afternoon School has provided a space for students to immerse themselves in the Greek language, culture, and heritage. The teachers have guided the students with dedication and passion, nurturing their love for the language and instilling them with pride for their Greek identity. Throughout their academic career, they have not only learned the language but also delved into the rich history and traditions of Greece. The goal is that as these graduates move on to the next chapter of their lives, they will carry the knowledge, experiences and friendships gained within the school walls and continue to celebrate, promote and preserve the Greek language and culture.

This year’s valedictorian is Andreas Stambilopoulos. Angelina Mpeka won the AHEPA’s 1st Award and Leon Ntosimo AHEPA’s 2nd Award.
V. Rev. Fr Avgoustinos Psomas, presiding priest of the St. Thomas, as well as the parish council and the principal and teachers of the school congratulated the graduating Class of 2023 and wished all the kids the best for their future.
