WASHINGTON, DC –
AHEPA Supreme President Savas C. Tsivicos was honored by the PanCyprian Association of Florida as the 2024 Person of the Year at their annual banquet held on January 27th. The organization’s Kyrenia II award was presented to Tsivicos by PSEKA President Philip Christopher in recognition of his unrelenting fight for Justice for Cyprus over the past thirty years.
In accepting the award, Tsivicos spoke about fulfilling the AHEPA pillar of Civic Responsibility and encouraged those in attendance to get involved in order to advocate for Cyprus.
In addition to honoring the Supreme President, the PanCyprian Association of Florida also honored the Order of AHEPA as a whole for being the largest Greek American organization that has done more for Greece and Cyprus than anybody else.
