WASHINGTON, DC –
The Venizelos Foundation USA, in collaboration with Georgetown University’s Modern Greek Studies Program, the Pancretan Association of America, Greater Washington, D.C. Chapter, and Georgetown’s Hellenic Association, presents a special screening of the award-winning documentary Venizelos: The Struggle for Asia Minor.
The screening will take place on Thursday, March 13 at 5:30 pm -8 pm at the Georgetown University’s Lohrfink Auditorium (37th and O Streets, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20057).

This award-winning documentary, directed by Nikos Dagiadas, explains Greek Prime Minister Eleftherios Venizelos’s foreign policy challenges in Asia Minor towards the end of WWI with dramatized scenes, rare archival material, and interviews with experts.
There will be a brief discussion, and a reception.
