In a related tweet, he added, “There is no exaggeration to say that our relations with the USA are at an all-time high. I had the pleasure and the honour, as Minister, to sign two amendments to our Defense Agreement (at the meeting with graduate students of Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy)”.

The Tufts students also paid a visit to the National Defense Ministry and met with the chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, who discussed the complex security region in the Mediterranean, and underlined the importance of strategic defense agreements Greece has signed with the United States and France.

Besides American and Greek nationals, the visiting group from Fletcher also includes nationals of India, Kuwait, Japan, and Spain.
