ATHENS –
President of the Hellenic Republic, Konstantinos A. Tassoulas, welcomed Metropolitan Konstantinos of Singapore and South Asia in Athens on October 21. During their discussion, the Metropolitan briefed the President on matters concerning Hellenism in South Asia, including the 100th anniversary of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Transfiguration of Our Savior in Kolkata, India.
President Tassoulas expressed his appreciation for the update and reaffirmed the Greek State’s unwavering support for the mission the Metropolitan is called to fulfill in service of Hellenism so far from the homeland.
