ATHENS –
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has begun posting 2027 road tax payment notices on its digital platforms, with no changes to the tax brackets or amounts payable.
Owners of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles can log into the myCAR platform using their TAXISnet credentials, print their payment notices and settle their dues by December 31, 2026.
Vehicle owners liable for road tax can also access their payment reference numbers and the amounts due through the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr).
Under the law, late-payment penalties apply as follows:
• 25% of the road tax amount if payment is made by January 31, 2027.
• 50% of the road tax amount if payment is made during February 2027.
• 100% of the road tax amount if payment is made on or after March 1, 2027, or if the 2027 road tax is only partially paid or remains unpaid.
