The reactivation of Chapter 42 – Manhattan was officially announced by the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) on October 26, marking a significant milestone for the organization’s presence in New York City.
Going forward, Chapter 42 will meet at the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church and National Shrine at Ground Zero.
Fr. Andreas Vithoulkas, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Saint Nicholas, along with the local community, expressed heartfelt enthusiasm for the chapter’s return and deep gratitude that Saint Nicholas will now serve as its home. He also reminded everyone that AHEPA has contributed one million dollars to the rebuilding of St. Nicholas”.

The first meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 17.
Attending this joyous occasion were also AHEPA District 6 (Empire State District) Governor Gus Constantine and Lt. Governor Konstantinos Prentzas, both of whom expressed sincere appreciation and look forward to working together for the mutual benefit of the Saint Nicholas Shrine and AHEPA.
