AHEPA NYC Delphi Chapter 25 held its monthly General Membership meeting at the Saint George and Saint Demetrios Church Hall in Manhattan on March 10.
As we entered the Lenten period, the Delphi Charter 25 invited Fr. Bartholomew Mercado, proistamenos of the church, to address their group. The topic they asked that he talk about was the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of the Ukraine. “This was not only an informative presentation, as this was blessed in 2019, but it was also very topical with the recent events in the region”, according to a FB post by the Charter.
A light Lenten supper was served as the assembly was reviewing the recent activities of the Chapter, as well as upcoming calendar events through June 2022.
On behalf of the Chapter, President Ted Klingos, along with past President, Argyris Argitakos, and board members presented Fr. Bartholomew with a check in the amount of $1,000 to be used by the church in its ministry.
