WASHINGTON, DC —American Hellenic Institute (AHI) President Nick Larigakis presented on the topic, “Current Developments on U.S. Relations with Greece and Cyprus” to members of
Order of AHEPA NELEFS Chapter 516, of Frederick, Maryland, at the Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church’s community hall, November 9, 2021.
“Thank you to AHEPA Chapter 516 for hosting me”, President Larigakis said. “With a flurry of activity in recent months affecting U.S. relations with Greece and Cyprus, it was a pleasure to provide an update on these developments to the Frederick community. It is critical for our communities to be informed and engaged on the issues, and I encourage their activism and outreach to their members of Congress as well as state and local officials”.
President Larigakis especially thanked Chapter 516 President Jim Hyrkas, Father George Mastakas, and AHEPA member and Archon Nick Carras, who helped to organize the event and who introduced Larigakis.
