Debate on censure motion against Greek Government continues on Wednesday

The debate on a censure motion against the government, submitted on Tuesday by the leader of PASOK-KINAL Nikos Androulakis, will continue on Wednesday in the plenary session of the Parliament, without interruption until the early hours of the following day.

On Thursday, the debate will resume at 09:00 in the morning and a roll-call vote will start around 20:00-21:00.

The three-day debate of the censure motion in the parliament plenary will be followed by the speeches of the political leaders and will conclude with the speech of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

PASOK-KINAL leader Nikos Androulakis tabled a four-party censure motion against the government on Tuesday afternoon. Speaking in parliament, he said: “We assumed this initiative to put a final end to anything offending the rule of law and, consequently, the proud Greek people.” 

The motion was tabled together with the main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance, Nea Aristera and Plefsi Eleftherias parties.

All deputies in the Greek parliament (300) signed up to speak.
