Eight Greek islands are in the top 20 of the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards for the Best Island in Europe, including Naxos in the top spot.
According to an announcement, the Greek islands of Naxos, Crete, Corfu, Rhodes, Skiathos, Mykonos, Folegandros, and Santorini have all made the top 20, receiving scores ranging from 83.27 to 95.71.
Naxos scored two points above Ibiza, Crete was almost tied with Sicily, Corfu with Madeira, Mykonos with Corsica, while Santorini and Folegandros outstripped Malta and Azores.
Notably, Cyprus holds the 15th position.
According to the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards, Europe’s best islands are:
