NEW YORK, NY –
Greece claimed top honors at the Travvy Awards 2025, standing out among the world’s leading travel destinations.
Greece won gold in two major categories: Best Destination in the Mediterranean and Best Cruise Destination in Europe. The country also earned Silver for Best Destination in Europe and Bronze for Best Tourism Board in Europe.
The awards were presented during an official ceremony held on November 6 at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Representing the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), Konstantinos Charokopos, Head of the GNTO Office Abroad, and Fai Georgousi, local GNTO staff member, accepted the awards on behalf of Greece.
Organized by TravelPulse and Northstar Travel Group, the Travvy Awards are among the most prestigious recognitions in the global travel industry. Winners are chosen through votes cast by thousands of travel professionals across the United States and beyond — making these distinctions a true mark of trust and excellence.
