UN Secretary-General António Guterres met with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, today, September 26, at the U.N. Headquarters in NYC, on the sidelines of the 80th General Assembly.
During the meeting, the Greek Prime Minister and the Secretary General discussed issues of international and regional interest, with an emphasis on Cyprus, Ukraine, the Middle East, and Libya.
Regarding the Cyprus issue and in light of tomorrow’s Trilateral Meeting in New York under the UN Secretary-General, Prime Minister Mitsotakis expressed his appreciation for Guterres’ efforts to resume negotiations.
