Represented with their GOYA teams were the communities of Saint Paul’s Cathedral in Hempstead, Archangel Michael in Port Washington, Saint Demetrios in Merrick, Saint Nicholas in West Babylon, Holy Resurrection in Brookville and Saint Paraskevi in Greenlawn along with the hosting parish of Holy Trinity in Hicksville.
Present were the Rev. Fr. Nikiforos Fakinos (St. Demetrios Merrick), Vicar of Nassau County, Rev. Fr. Panteleimon Papadopoulos (Holy Resurrection, Brookville), Rev. Fr. Theofanis Papantonis (Holy Trinity Hicksville), Rev. Fr. Demetrios Kazakis (St. Nicholas West Babylon), director of the InterGOYA, Rev. Fr. Elias Pappas (St. Paul’s Hempstead) and Rev. Fr.
