The Maids of Athena District 6 Lodge gathered at St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Hempstead on February 22 for their annual Mid-Year Conference. Members from all five chapters attended to discuss their progress, upcoming events, and goals for the remainder of the year. A highlight of the meeting was the opportunity for chapters to share updates, exchange ideas, and provide a status report on the Sensory Room project at St. Basil.

The conference was attended by several distinguished guests, including District 6 Maids Advisor Efthymia Galiatsatos, District 6 Daughters of Penelope (DOP) Treasurer Demetra Versocki, District 6 DOP Marshal Tatiana Stampolis, District 6 DOP Advisor Joanne Pappas, and Hempstead Maids Advisor Andrea Pagonis. AHEPA Past District 6 Governor Petros Ragoussis also visited the Maids floor, along with AHEPA District 6 Warden Anastasios Stampolis, who addressed the attendees.

The Maids of Athena District 6 extended their heartfelt gratitude to St. Paul’s for generously providing the space for their meeting. They would also thanked Anastasios Stampolis and their AHEPA chapter for their invaluable support in making this event a success.
