Saint Thomas Greek Orthodox Church hosted its annual Greek AGORA Festival, one of the largest and most anticipated cultural events in the Delaware Valley, October 9 – 12.
The festival opened with a special visit from His Eminence Metropolitan Apostolos of New Jersey, who was warmly welcomed by the newly appointed Proistamenos, Rev. Protopresbyter Georgios Oikonomos, and President Anastasius Efstratiades, along with fellow Parish Council members and past presidents, Archons George Horiates, George Pappas, Dimitrios Rozanitis, and Dr. Elias Iliadis.
After enjoying the delicious souvlakia, pites, and other Greek Specialties, the parish’s GOYA dance group performed a spirited suite of traditional dances in honor of His Eminence, captivating the audience.
All festival visitors enjoyed a delightful array of homemade Greek foods and sweets, along with the delicious gyro and souvlaki served by New York’s finest KING SOUVLAKI.
