WASHINGTON, DC –
Kimberly Guilfoyle is set to appear before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee on July 9, at 10:00 a.m. for a hearing on her nomination as the next U.S. Ambassador to Greece.
Following the committee hearing, Guilfoyle’s appointment must be confirmed by the Senate.
Guilfoyle, who was nominated for the post by President Donald Trump, is expected to depart for Athens immediately after being sworn in by the President in the Oval Office.
