AHI Presents Panel Discussion in Athens Dec.1

WASHINGTON, DC – The American Hellenic Institute (AHI) in cooperation with the AHI-Athens Chapter presents a panel discussion titled “The Role of the Greek-American Community in Advancing U.S.- Greek Relations” on Wednesday, December 1, at 6-7:30 pm at the Grande Bretagne Hotel in Athens.

U.S. Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Pyatt will be the keynote speaker. Panelists include Ambassador Haris Lalacos, Director General for Political Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Professor Alexander Kitroeff, Professor of History, Haverford College, Philadelphia, PA; and AHI President Nick Larigakis.

Dimitrios Apokis, EPT A.E., journalist, international relations analyst and columnist will moderate the discussion.

The American Hellenic Institute is a non-profit Greek-American public policy center and think tank that works to strengthen relations between the United States and Greece and Cyprus, and within the Greek-American community.
