Clergy from across the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain gathered at the Archdiocesan Chapel of the Transfiguration in London on April 3 for a seminar dedicated to the liturgical order and pastoral practice of Holy Week and Pascha.
The session, organized by the Archdiocese, focused on the proper conduct of the services, the Ordo, and the practical demands placed upon clergy during this most intense period of the ecclesiastical year. While particularly beneficial for newer members of the clergy, the seminar served equally as a timely refresher for all, according to an announcement by the Archdiocese.

His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas led the principal session, offering guidance drawn from both liturgical tradition and pastoral experience. The seminar was conducted in an open and conversational spirit, with clergy engaging in discussion, raising questions, and reflecting together on the challenges and responsibilities of Holy Week ministry.
A shared lunch provided a welcomed pause in the day and an opportunity for fellowship among the clergy, before the seminar resumed in the early afternoon.
“The gathering offered not only practical formation, but also a valuable moment of connection, strengthening the bonds of fraternity among those serving across the Archdiocese in preparation for the days to come”, the note concludes.
