NEW YORK – GNUSA
Twelve nonprofit organizations across Cyprus will receive a total of $116,000 in grants from the Cyprus Children’s Fund (CCF), Nicos Zittis, National Chairman and President of the Fund (CCF), together with the Board of Directors, announced on February 19.
Through its annual Grants program, the Cyprus Children’s Fund reaffirms its commitment to supporting children and young adults in Cyprus, by funding organizations that provide essential services and programs to them. These grants are funded through proceeds from the Fund’s 2025 annual fundraising event, as well as generous contributions from individual donors and sponsoring organizations throughout the year.
“Because of the extraordinary generosity of our donors and sponsors — whose compassion and commitment inspire us every day — we are able to continue standing beside nonprofit organizations that provide vital, life changing services to children and families across Cyprus”, stated Nicos Zittis. “For twelve consecutive years, the Cyprus Children’s Fund has proudly invested more than $700,000 in programs that strengthen communities throughout Cyprus. This year alone, we are honored to distribute $116,000 in grants to twelve remarkable organizations whose dedication brings hope, stability, and opportunity to those who need it most”, he added.
The 2025 grants are being awarded to the following organizations:
1. Shriners / George & Thelma Paraskevaides Foundation, 2. Margarita Liasidou Foundation, 3. Association of Parents & Friends of Children with Special Needs, 4. Ronald McDonald House Cyprus, 5.
