NEW YORK, NY – On Saturday, February 4, 2023, V. Rev. Archimandrite Chrysostom Onyekakeyah, Project Coordinator for Mission and Outreach Development for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, celebrated the first Divine Liturgy in the context of his Outreach effort towards African Americans and people of color.
The service was celebrated in English at St. Eleftherios Greek Orthodox Church in Manhattan. This first service was an opportunity to worship together and to offer some an opportunity afterwards to share more about the Orthodox faith.
Fr. Chrysostom is scheduled to celebrate for the Outreach Mission twice a month at St. Eleftherios Greek Orthodox Church.
